Mr. Roland L. Geter of Augusta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Roland was born June 17, 1950, to the late Luvern A. Geter and Lillian P. Geter Gilchrist.
Ronald is survived by his sister, Millicent Geter Peek of Lakeland, FL; nephews, Bertram A. Peek of Augusta, GA, Daniel A. (Kenyatta) Peek of Dallas, GA; niece, Charlene R. (Will) Epps of Lakeland, FL; cousins, Kirk Hankinson of Conyers, GA, Angela S. Key of Aiken, SC, Stadford Simpkins of North Augusta, SC; and countless other cousins and friends from childhood to adulthood.
The family will host a memorial on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 12:00noon, at St. Albans Episcopal Church, 2321 Lumpkin Road Augusta, Georgia.

Roland Geter was one of my best friends growing up in Augusta.We lived in the same neighborhood so we got to know each other well.I will offer my deepest condolences to all family and friends
Millicent, I was very sad to hear of Roland's passing. He was a great classmate at ICA and Aquinas. I will always remember his friendly attitude and courteous manners. I will remember him in prayer, he made a positive effect on many lives. Deepest sympathy to you and the entire Geter family. God bless you!
