Carol Louise Minter, 83 of Sunset, TX went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7th, 2024.
Graveside services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12th, at Sunset Cemetery in Sunset, TX with Pastor Randall Templin officiating and Craig Rogers speaking on the Minter's behalf.
Carol was born December 21, 1940 in Shreveport, LA to James and Rachel McCraw. She moved to Fort Worth in the late 60's and worked as a postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office until her retirement in 1978. On August 8, 1975, Carol married Paul Minter. The couple lived in Keller raised a family, until 1991, when she and Paul moved to Sunset, TX.
Carol enjoyed painting, gardening, wildflowers, listening to Elvis and being with her little dog “Wiggles”. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be remembered with love and appreciation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Minter, daughter Penny Mauldin, and brother Donald McGraw.
Carol is survived by her husband Paul Minter of Sunset, TX; sons, Stephen Minter of Fort Worth, TX and Tony Mauldin and wife Theresa of Counce, TN; grandchildren, Maci and Maggie Minter of Fort Worth, TX, Joshua McIntyre and wife Kayla of Biloxi, MS, and Nicholas Mauldin of Florence, AL; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Addison, Grace McIntyre, and Jacob Reid McIntyre, all of Biloxi, MS.
