Charles “Charlie” Robert Worthy, 34 of Bowie, TX, passed away Sunday, July 4th, 2021 in Bowie.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23rd, at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bowie, with Buck Ross officiating.
Charlie was born January 28, 1987 in Wichita Falls, TX to Paul and Melody (Weaver) Worthy. He worked in construction with Kingdom Construction. Charlie is described as being very competitive & generous. He enjoyed helping and blessing others. He was a devoted carpenter and handiman who took pride in every job he did. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. He was a wonderful father to Kolby (13) & Nichole (10) as well as a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. He made friends easily & brightened everyone’s day with his smile and personality.
He is preceded in death by his father Paul Worthy, uncle Robert Weaver, nephews Jesse Fisher Jr. and Carson Davis, grandparents Robert Elwood Weaver Sr and Sharon Brumley, Bud and Becky Worthy, and Welda Seller.
Charlie is survived by his children Kolby Worthy and Nichole Worthy; mother Melody Joy Worthy; brother Paul Worthy and wife Larrissa; sisters Amber Moran and husband Sean and Sharon Nicole Worthy and Schuylar Davis; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The Fisher, Cramer and Fugate families.
