Obituary For David Charles Bose

David Charles Bose, 77 of Bowie, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

David was born on May 20, 1948, in Kenosha, WI. David was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Susan Bose, for 51 years.

He dedicated his life to the service of others through his service in the Navy, 28 years of police service at the Zion, IL Police Department, coaching little league baseball with his grandsons, mission trips, children and youth ministries, and various other services to his church. He loved to sing and was a member of his church choir. He loved his family and never turned down the chance to act like a big kid with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was loved and respected by all who were fortunate enough to have met him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and June Bose; brother, Mike.

David is survived by his wife, Susan Bose of Bowie; his children, Stacey Brown and her husband Jases of Bowie, David Bose and his wife Katie of Mount Pleasant, WI, Steven Bose and his wife Kelly of Jesup, IA; grandchildren, Alexandra Kleman, Mitchell Jipson, Alexandra Brown, Megan Brown, Dixie Brown, Peyton Bose, Noah Brown, Jaden Bose, Emma Bose, William Brown; great-grandchildren Kye Kleman and William Kleman.
