Obituary For David Rodney Huddleston

David “Hud” Rodney Huddleston, age 64 of Forestburg, TX, passed away Saturday, January 27th, 2024.

Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30th, at the Forestburg Baptist Church in Forestburg, TX, with Thad Murphy officiating.

Burial will follow at Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg, TX.

David was born October 12, 1959 in Bowie, Texas to Buford and Dorothy (Frazier) Huddleston. David was a graduate of Forestburg High School in 1977. He would later work in the oil field and also as a mechanic.

He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend known for both his patience, kindness, as well as his easy disposition.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Dorothy Huddleston, his sister, Teresa Huddleston, and his son, Eddy Clyde (E.C.) Yeley.

David is survived by his brother Harold Huddleston and wife Ioanna Huddleston, children Monica Jacobs and husband Joshua Jacobs, David William Huddleston and wife Hailey Hitz, Lacy Huddleston, Lee Yeley, Krystle Bridges and husband Tommy Bridges, Mother of his Children, Tammy McCay, and his 17 grandchildren.
