Debbie Ardene Gehring, 59 of Bowie, TX went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19th, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Memorial services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23rd, at Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham, TX with Rev. Stephen Gehring officiating. Friends and family may watch the live stream of the service through facebook: @debbiegehringmemorialservice Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd, at the Blake Brother's Ranch Cemetery in Henrietta, TX. Debbie was born January 7th, 1961 in McAllen, TX to Hubert and Janet (Frantz) Blake. She graduated from Friendswood High School in 1979. Debbie then obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin, and went on to teach at elementary schools in Texas for many years. Debbie was a founding member of Christ United Methodist Church in College Station, and served the Lord faithfully throughout her life. Her mission in life was to share Jesus with others, which she passionately did until her last day on earth. Debbie's friends and family knew her as their prayer warrior. She left a legacy of love and faith and is now rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus her Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her father Hubert “Buddy” Blake. Debbie is survived by her sons Stephen Gehring and wife Julie Ann of Graham, TX and Andrew Gehring of New Braunfels, TX; parents Janet and Jim Walvoord of Nocona, TX; grandchildren Evelyn and Rowan Gehring of Graham; brothers David Blake and wife Nita of Bowie and Jeff Walvoord and wife Lindy of The Woodlands, TX; sisters Shari Hutchings and husband Matt of Denver, CO and Jenny Waller and husband Chris of Arlington, WA; 2 nieces and 9 nephews. Should friends desire, monetary memorials can be made in honor of Debbie to the Cancer Support Group of the Central Church in College Station, TX. Floral memorials can be coordinated with Joy’s Downtown Flowers in Graham, TX. Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
