Obituary For Dee Anna Cozart Booker

Bowie - Dee Anna Cozart Booker passed away at her home on April 23, 2026.

Visitation and celebration of life will be from 2 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX.

Dee Anna was born on May 12, 1947, to L.D. Cozart and Vera Walker Cozart. She was a long-time member of Lighthouse Church in Bowie, where she had watched services online for the last several years due to mobility issues. Despite her mobility and health issues, she continued to work at Nortex Regional Planning Commission in Wichita Falls where she had been employed since 1999.

She loved the Lord with all her heart and cherished her family. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother (Nana), and her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved collecting gnomes, anything gingerbread, and loved all things purple and animal print. She was a generous giver and loved showering her family and friends with gifts, especially at Christmas. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel and shopping on QVC!

She is preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Vera Cozart and by her husband and love of her life, Andy Booker.

Dee Anna is survived by her only child, Debbie Johnson and husband Elton, grandchildren Trace Finn and wife Carrie, Trey Johnson and Trent Johnson.

Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, Texas.
