Obituary For Frankie Lee Engledow
Frankie Lee Engledow, 88, of Bowie, TX passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Frankie was born in Shawnee, OK to Burnis H. and Katie Mae (Rice) Marler. She worked as a waitress at the Travel Inn, Hager Slack Co. and later was a secretary for W.R. Grace Oil Company in the 70s. She enjoyed dancing at Silver Strings.
She is preceded in death by her son, Bryan Scott Coggin.
Frankie is survived by her husband, Gerald Engledow of Bowie; son, Bobby Coggin, and wife, Amanda of Bowie; grandchildren, Leah Throckmorton and husband, Kris of Alvord, TX and Whitney, St. Andre and husband, Jeff of Manor, TX; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey Throckmorton, Benson Throckmorton, Crue St. Andre and Zander St. Andre.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s foundation.
