Obituary For Glenn "Danny" Daniel Beck

In Loving Memory of Glenn Daniel “Danny” Beck

September 24, 1967 – October 20, 2026

Glenn Daniel “Danny” Beck, born September 24, 1967, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 59.

A memorial service will take place on Monday, November 16, at 6:00 p.m. at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Danny was a man who lived life on his own terms, with an adventurous spirit, unwavering determination, and a personality that was truly one of a kind. He had a love for the thrill of life — fast motorcycles, fast boats, and, as he would probably be the first to admit, fast women. He wasn't one to shy away from excitement, a challenge, or the opportunity to make a good story even better.

Danny believed that nothing was ever too broken to fix. Whether it was a machine, a motor, or a seemingly impossible problem, he approached everything with an indomitable can-do attitude. Where others saw obstacles, Danny saw a challenge worth tackling. Giving up simply wasn't in his nature, and the words "it can't be done" were more likely to motivate him than discourage him.

Although born in Fort Worth, Danny spent most of his life in Bowie, Texas, a place he called home. He graduated from Bowie High School where he was the starting quarter back and then went on to graduate from Tarleton State University. Danny went on to become a true jack-of-all-trades. There wasn't much he couldn't figure out, fix, build, or find a way to make work. Danny spent much of his adult life working alongside his father at ND Pendent Services, where his resourcefulness, mechanical abilities, and determination were put to good use.

Danny was never one to follow the conventional path. He had his own way of doing things, a stubborn streak that could rival anyone's, and a confidence that somehow made even his wildest ideas seem possible. He worked hard, played hard, and embraced life with a spirit that couldn't easily be tamed.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Winterman Goldberg. He is survived by his father, Glenn Beck; his step-father Jerry Goldberg, his brothers, Bobby Killion and Reed Killion; and his sister, Robyn Killion. He also leaves behind family, friends, and countless others who will remember his adventurous nature and one-of-a-kind spirit.

Those who knew Danny will remember a man of many talents, countless stories, and a lifetime of experiences that could never be summed up in just a few words. He was unapologetically himself — determined, capable, adventurous, and impossible to forget.

Danny's life was not measured by how carefully he traveled through it, but by how fully he embraced the ride.

Ride fast, live boldly, and never believe something is beyond repair. That was Danny.
