Obituary For James Franklin Morris

James F. Morris, 81, of Montague, TX, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

Graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23rd at Valley View Cemetery in Valley View, TX, with Chaplin Phillip Weitner officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX.

James was born February 11, 1941 in Denton, TX to James F., Sr. and Bertie Lee Morris. He married Judith Garza on August 25, 1962 in Denton, TX. James was a long haul truck driver and was involved with the Knights of Columbus.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his son, James F. Morris III.

James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judith Morris of Montague; daughter, Susan Jobe of Bolivar, TX; granddaughter, Michelle Mills and husband David of Bowie; grandson, Christopher Cox and wife Sunnie of Slidell, TX; 4 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to The White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
