Jesse J. Rodriguez, 72, of Park Springs, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2025, in Decatur, Texas. He was born on December 22, 1952 in Brownsville, Texas, to Augustin and Hilaria Rodriguez.
Family and friends are invited to gather at White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, Texas, on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Sunset, Texas
On July 6, 1974, Jesse married the love of his life, Juanita Trevino, in Banquete, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three daughters: Crystal, Rita, and Sandra.
Jesse proudly served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1978, achieving the rank of Sergeant and working as a helicopter mechanic. Following his military service, he began a 31-year career with Ball Metal Corporation, where he worked as a maintainer until his retirement.
In retirement, Jesse enjoyed working on antique cars and served as an active board member of the Wise County Antique Auto Club. He was a die-hard Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan, but above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Augustin and Hilaria Rodriguez, two brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Rodriguez; daughters, Crystal Tovar of Fort Worth, Texas, Rita Rodriguez of Fort Worth, Texas, and Sandra McDonald and husband Jason of Bowie, Texas; grandchildren, Elizabeth Gonzalez and husband Isaias of Banquete, Texas, and Luis Tovar and wife Alex of San Angelo, Texas; two great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
