Obituary For Jessie Ruth Bise

Jessie Ruth (Vincent) Bise, 87, passed away Thursday, November 25th, 2021 at Wise Health System Decatur, TX.

Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 9th, at Eagle Drive Baptist Church, Decatur, with a viewing prior to the service at 9:00 a.m.

Burial will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m on Thursday.

Jessie was born September 30, 1934 in Donna, TX, to Clyde and Bernice Clark Vincent, raised in Decatur and graduate of Decatur High School. Jessie became a military wife and lived throughout the United States and Territory while raising a family. She was an accomplished seamstress and avid hobbyist, thoroughly enjoying the social aspects of crafting. No one remained a stranger very long to her. She was a charter member of Eagle Drive Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, Gerald Dennis Bise; brother Clyde “Sonny” Vincent; sister Maxine Stone.

Jessie is survived by sister Iva Rudean Spain and Husband Reverend Don Spain of Decatur; daughter Deborah Bise Schellhase and husband Richard of Cedar Hill, TX; son Lloyd Eugene Bise and wife Sue Ann of Quitman, TX; daughter Cynthia Bise Rose of Cedar Hill; son Jeremy Dennis Bise and wife Kimberly of Decatur; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
