Obituary For Jimmie Charles Robertson
Jimmie Charles Robertson, 84 of Forestburg, TX passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026, in Nocona, TX.
A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28th at the Montague County Cowboy Church with Pastor Joe Caballero officiating.
Jimmie was born October 1, 1941, in Nocona, TX to Walter Lee and Syble Bernice (Hanson) Robertson. He graduated from Birdville High School in North Richland Hills, TX. On June 18, 1960, Jimmie married Edna “Louise” Helms in Haltom City. He had a lifelong career and an assembler with General Motors, until his retirement. Jimmie was a member of the Montague County Cowboy Church, the Forestburg Masonic Lodge #523 and a longtime Shriner. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with Louise and was somewhat of an amateur gunsmith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise Robertson, sister Patricia Gayle Robertson, brother Ronnie Lee Robertson, and grandsons, Andrew Harpstrite and Cheyene Robertson.
Jimmie is survived by his children, Connie Cozby of Rhome, TX, Eddie Robertson and wife Kathryn of Forestburg, TX, and Carmen Warner and husband Bob of Bowie, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Scott and husband Landon, Dylan Robertson and wife Lea, Kristina Robertson, David Harpstrite, Christopher Warner and wife Aubrey and Kevin Warner and wife Klarissa; numerous great-grandchildren; and several numerous nieces and nephews.
