Jimmie Dale Johnson, 83 of Bellevue, TX passed away Friday, August 28th, 2026, in Wichita Falls, TX.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26th, at the First Baptist Church of Bellevue Life Center.

Jimmie was born December 26, 1942, in Fort Worth, TX to James Jeffrey and Nellie Mae (Frazier) Johnson. He grew up in the Sunset and Bowie area and worked in the oilfield and for Robert’s Radiator Shop in Bowie for many years. In his later years Jimmie enjoyed buying, trading, and selling a variety of various items. He also enjoyed visiting with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, partner, Arlene Denton, brothers, Bill Lewis (Emmaline), and Bob Lewis (Sudie), sisters, Betty Huber (Waldo), Mary Goodner (Jerald) and twins, Jessie Mayo (Irby) and Peggy Ferrin (Charlie).

Jimmie is survived by his stepson, Skeeter Langley and numerous nieces and nephews.
