Judy enjoyed being involved in many community groups, and was a former President of the Nocona Chamber of Commerce. Her greatest joy in life was serving the Lord, as well as playing the piano and singing. Judy and Rondall played at many community events and Advanced Rehabilitation for the patients. She also enjoyed cheering on her grandkids at sporting events, and was known as a fierce prayer warrior for many family members and friends.
Judy was a member of the Montague Holiness Church for over 40 years, where she played the piano and taught Sunday school for many years. She was also active in the Montague County Jail ministry program. Judy was a blessing to those who knew her and will be missed by so many.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Duncan Parr, and her parents Steve and Dollie Tilghman.

Judi you were the consummate professional when I saw you in my office. Your main concern was for the others who had been displaced from their employment. Then, I had the opportunity to hear you play and sing. I was impressed by your skill and the joy you brought. You were composed yet demure; you were one of the strongest Christians I have ever met, filled with so much love, forgiveness and compassion. I appreciated your input at the prison ministry meetings. You had marvelous ideas and I am sorry that Covid slowed us down on some of those . You're now resting and away from pain. I look forward to when I will see you again. Thank you dearest Christian sister for your excellent example. Mary Prater Smith

Judy was one of the sweetest ladies I knew. She was the epitemy of what a Christian should be. She was exempliary of the way all of us should strive to ever be.
My family knew Judy and her parents for many years. They were very good people. My best memory is of when Judy worked at the bank here in Jacksboro. She was professional, kind, caring, and very much a lady. Y'all will be in my prayers.
