Juliet Elias, 97 of Bowie, TX, passed from the cares of this life into the glory of Heaven on Thursday, June 8th, 2023.
Funeral services will take place in California, at a later date.
Juliet was born in Los Angeles, CA to Octavius and Ernestina (Perez) Perea on November 17, 1925. She was delivered on the kitchen table by the family doctor. Juliet married Ralph Robert Elias on August 8, 1947. She was a legal secretary, and later a homemaker. During WWII, Juliet worked for Arden Farms, packing ice cream for the troops overseas. She loved to read, especially the Bible and converse with people about everything under the sun, especially about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the goodness of God. She was the greatest of mothers and a friend of all. Juliet recently relocated to Bowie to be with her youngest son and family. She attended Eastside Baptist Church in Bowie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Ronald Elias, and siblings, Octavius Ernest, Priscilla, and Mary Martha.
Juliet is survived by her son, Laurence Perea of Los Angeles, CA, Robert Elias and wife Linda of Ontario, CA, Romeo Elias and wife Martha of Montclair, CA, John Elias and wife Maria of Bowie; daughters Sherry Lagana and Shirley Zamora and husband Daniel of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude to Dr. Surinder Aujla, Dr. Gary Evans, Advanced Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Bowie, especially the CNA's, and Solaris Hospice, for the care given to Mrs. Elias.
