LaDonna was born on August 8, 1972, and will be remembered for her intelligence, dedication, strength, and devotion to her family and community.

LaDonna was a proud graduate of Kinta High School in Kinta, Oklahoma, where she graduated in 1990 as the valedictorian of her class. She continued her education at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, earning her bachelor’s degree in accounting with honors in 1994. That same year, she became a Certified Public Accountant, beginning a successful career in accounting and business affairs.

Throughout her professional life, LaDonna held several respected positions. She worked for Beverly Industries and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma before serving as Vice President of Business Affairs at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Later in her career, she became the Comptroller at North Central Texas College in Gainesville, Texas, where she continued to share her knowledge, professionalism, and dedication.

Beyond her career, LaDonna generously gave her time to her community. She served as treasurer of the Bowie High School Marching Band Boosters for many years, supporting students and the band program she cared deeply about. Her willingness to serve others and give her time made a lasting difference to those around her.

LaDonna’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her son, Andrew Charles Howell, of Longtown, Oklahoma, and his wife, Korra Ann Howell; her daughter, Amanda Rae Howell, of Bowie, Texas; her children's father, Michael Ray Howell, of Saginaw, Texas, and her three beloved grandchildren, Easton Michael Howell, Gracelynn Nicole Howell, and Colter Banks Howell, all of Longtown, Oklahoma.

LaDonna will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched. Her accomplishments were many, but her greatest legacy will be the love she gave to her children and grandchildren and the memories she leaves behind. She will be remembered not only for her remarkable intelligence and professional achievements, but also for her dedication to her family, her community, and the people she cared about.

Her memory will live on through the family she loved the students and organizations she supported, and the many lives she touched throughout her journey.
