Obituary For Lance Allen Provost

Lance Allen Provost, 49 of Bowie, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4th, 2021 in Nocona, TX.

Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8th, at the Stoneburg Baptist Church in Stoneburg, TX, with Pastor Larry Kennedy officiating.

Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 7th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Lance was born October 20, 1971 in Grand Prairie, TX to Jimmy and Juanita (McCoy) Provost. He graduated in 1990 from Granite High School in Granite, OK. On April 28, 2001, Lance married Connie James in Ericksdahl, TX, and together they raised six kids.

Lance served his country in the United States Navy, then started his career in law enforcement in Knox City, TX and finished in Saint Jo, TX. Lance then started his career in the nursing profession, and graduated from NCTC in 2017. Lance was known for his big bubbling personality, his wit and fun nature. He was a devoted husband and father, and he will be remembered as a spontaneous and one of a kind Dad, who loved his children dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father Jimmy Provost.

Lance is survived by his wife Connie Provost of Bowie, TX; children James Provost and wife Autumn of Henrietta, TX, Molly Provost, Abigail Provost and Travis Terry, Madison Provost, Jack Provost, and Isabella Provost, all of Bowie, TX; grandson Beaux Provost of Henrietta, TX; mother Juanita Provost of Wichita Falls, TX; sister Kayla Poage of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
