Lillian Faye Lawhorn, 89 of Sunset, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 14th, 2020 in Bowie, TX.
Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17th, at Southside Baptist Church in Bowie, with Dr. Tony Rogers and Pastor Gregg Shaw officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery,
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16th, at the White family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Lillian was born February 1, 1931 in Nocona, TX to Howell “Bud” and Gertie (Underwood) Hudson. She graduated from Prairie Valley High School. Lillian married Billy Joe Lawhorn Sr. on May 20, 1950 in Henrietta, TX, and together the couple raised three children. As a younger woman she worked for Pac-A-Sac, and later went to work for Modern Laundry and Cleaners. Then following her retirement she worked for Adams Fruit Stand.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Lawhorn Sr., parents Bud and Gertie Hudson, brother Dalton Leon Hudson, and her sister-in-law Wilma Hudson.
Lillian is survived by her children Billy Lawhorn Jr. and wife Danna of Sunset; Leon Lawhorn of Sunset; and Linda Lux of Hurst, TX; grandchildren Chad Lawhorn and wife Holly, Eric Lawhorn and wife Amber, Steven Lux and wife Nikki, and David Lux; great-grandchildren Logan Lawhorn, Brady Lawhorn, Aiden Lawhorn, Ashton Lawhorn, Cash Lawhorn, Jolie Lawhorn, Logan Barnes, Layla Felts, Landon Felts and Dustin Lux; and great-great-grand Lili Lux.
