Obituary For Linda Coker

Linda Coker, 69 of Shallowater, TX, was called home to Heaven on Monday, November 15th, 2021, at her home.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX, with David Hall, minister of the Sunset Church of Christ officiating.

Linda was born May 6, 1952 in Wichita Falls, TX to her wonderful parents Troy and Jean Hudson. Linda was a life-long member of the Church of Christ.

She attended schools in Henrietta until moving to Bowie her senior year. Linda loved playing the clarinet in the band. She also enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews cheer and play multiple sports.

Linda owned a daycare center in Bowie for so long that she was keeping children of kids she had kept. She and her husband Blant loved those children as their own.

Ms. Coker is preceded in death by her loving husband Blant, her parents, and brothers Larry and Ricky.

Linda is survived by her sister Debra Bell and husband Danny of Krum; brothers Duncan Hudson of Shallowater, TX, Shane Hudson and wife Marsha of Jacksonville, FL, and Shawn Hudson of Bowie; as well as, many special nieces and nephews, who loved her and considered her a second “Mom”.

The family would like to say a huge Thank You to all the doctors, nurses, aides, specialist, and hospice workers for the love and care given to their sweet sister.
