Obituary For Maria Elena Garza
Maria Elena Garza, 88, of Bowie, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2025. She was born in Coahuila, Mexico, on June 25, 1937.
Maria Elena was a devoted mother to Juan Carlos Rodriguez, Leticia Rodriguez Gonzalez, and Claudia Rodriguez Garza. She was lovingly known as “Mami Nena” to her grandchildren—Vicente, Maria, Miguel, Carlosalberto, Ivan, Helena, Amy, and Emily—and to her great-grandchildren.
She loved gardening and sharing the meals she prepared with family and friends. Maria Elena’s legacy of love and care will live on through the generations she nurtured, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family is deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this time
