Obituary For Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez

Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez, 53 of Bowie, TX, passed away Saturday, November 27th, 2021.

Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7th, at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Bowie, Father Reehan Soosai Antony and Deacon Mauricio Hernandez officiating.

Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, TX.

Rosary will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie with a visitation to follow.

Maria was born May 25, 1968 in Mexico to Neftaly and Juanita (Hinojosa) Rodriguez. As a young woman she worked in a coupon factory in Mexico, before moving to Bowie. She later worked for the Jim Bowie Restaurant and Dos Chili's, and cleaned houses.

Maria was a devoted wife and mother, and enjoyed gardening and working along side her husband Juan on his jobs. She was proud of her home on Elba street, that she and her husband built together with lots of memories. Maria will be remembered for her kind, friendly and loving nature.

She is preceded in death by her father Neftaly Rodriguez.

Maria is survived by her husband Juan Rodriguez of Bowie, TX; daughter Jasmine Rodriguez of Bowie; mother Juanita Hinojousa Rodriguez of Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico; brother Jesus Rodriguez and wife Gloria Moreno of Hobbs, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
