Obituary For Marian Eleanor Holbrook

Marian Eleanor Holbrook 94 of Bowie, TX, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 14th, 2023.

The family will hold a private service at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, TX, where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband.

Marian was born June 30, 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Frank and Beatrice Haberman. She married Weldon C. Holbrook of Prosper, TX on September 9, 1950. Together they had one son, Michael Curtis Holbrook, a gift from God. He brought joy and pride to their lives. Marian loved God and lived a life of service to Him and his children. Marian dearly loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Marian is survived by her son, Michael Holbrook and wife Rita Kay of Bowie, TX; grandchildren, Lon Holbrook and wife Kim of Hurst, TX, and Kristin Shieldknight and husband Quentin of Spearman, TX; great-grandchildren, Cody Holbrook and wife Katie of North Richland Hills, TX, Madison Gannon and husband Kyle of Fort Worth, TX, and Landri Holbrook of Hurst, TX, Kinley Shieldknight, Hayden Shieldknight and Logan Shieldknight, all of Spearman, TX; great-great-grandchild, Taitum Holbrook; sisters-in-law, Mary Haberman of Grand Rapids, MI and Dorothy Holbrook of Dallas, TX; many dear and precious nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
