Obituary For Nancy "Jo" Daniel

Nancy “Jo” Daniel, 89, of Bowie, TX, passed away Monday, September 29th, 2025, in Decatur TX.

Graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 3rd, at the Montague Cemetery in Montague, TX with Rex Hamilton officiating and pallbearers, Joe Barnhill, Jeremy Chilson, Jeremy Chilson Jr, Casey Fain, Joedi Walser, and Zachary Sanders.

Visitation will take place from 10 to 11a.m. on Friday, October 3rd, prior to graveside service at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Nancy “Jo” was born September 28, 1936, in Montague, TX to Oscar and Gracie Bryant. She married William Daniel on November 27, 1952, in Montague, TX. Nancy was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. She was a mother figure to several generations of children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William Daniel; sisters, Bille Jean Wise, and Evie Bell; brothers, Chuck Bryant, Clinton Bryant and Dave Bryant; and grandson, Dustin Cox.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Sherry Wise and Melinda Wise; son, Bucky Wise; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
