Pamela Jane Rogers, 65, of Bowie, TX was called home to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 20, 2025, surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 6:00pm at Lighthouse Assembly Church in Bowie, TX.
She was born in Flint, Michigan on January 07, 1960, to parents Doris and Donald Swank. She attended school and grew up in Lakeland, FL. She married Allen “Doc” Rogers, and they moved to Bowie in 1988 where they would raise their family.
She loved the open road—whether it was riding her Harley Davidson or driving her 18-wheeler. She traveled across this country, always with music playing Willie Nelson and Black Sabbath, were her favorite. Those passions weren’t just hobbies, they were expressions of who Pam was free-spirited, strong, and unafraid to face the unknown. She poured herself into everything she did, with grit and determination. Above all, she poured herself into her family. She was an amazing mother, a loving NawNaw, a devoted aunt, and a loyal friend. She will be remembered for her strength, determination, and vibrant spirit.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Donald Swank, by Allen “Doc” Rogers, and her Infant son, Jesse. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Kathy Chapin, her brother, Donnie Swank, her brother, Ronnie Swank, daughters Amy and husband Johnathan Swofford, Atarah and husband Bryan Kirkland, Ariel and husband Steven Vargas, Amariah and husband Cole Brewer, grandchildren Shayla, Warren, Kyler, Grant, Anthony, Brayden, Gavin, Jeremiah, Amelia, and Avery, 4 great-grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
