The visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Born on January 12, 1943, in East Chicago, Indiana, (but if you were to ask her where she was from, she called herself a Kentuckian). Patricia was the eldest daughter of Cecil and Virgie Phillips. She was raised with strong values of love, resilience, and faith—principles that guided her throughout her life.
On June 10, 1961, Patricia married the love of her life, Dick Hennings. Together, they served faithfully alongside one another in church ministry for over forty years, dedicating their lives to their faith and community. Patricia’s love of music was a vital part of her service, especially her passion for teaching others how to play the piano, sharing both her skill and her joy with many. Patricia was a devoted mother, giving grandmother, and passionate foster mom.
Patricia is preceded in death by her son, Jim Graham. She is survived by her son Richard Hennings Jr., daughter Lisa Boyd, daughter-in-law Janice Graham, grandchildren Michelle Graham, Megan Hennings, Joshua Hennings, Julia Frederiksen, Mikaela Neubauer, and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving Pat are her sister Fonya and brother-in-law Tom Miller, as well as her nieces Lauren Mizel, Caryn Mundell, and Heather Charron.
Those who knew Pat will remember her as a woman of generosity, boldness, tenacity, and unwavering strength. She had a gift for making others feel welcomed and cared for, and her compassion left a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
She will be remembered most for her deep love for her family and her enduring faith. Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, and the memories cherished by those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat’s honor to Bowie Mission or The Samaritan Inn (in McKinney, TX) at: https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E360553&id=5

I loved watching her teach the preschoolers and children of FBC Bowie. She taught with so much joy and compassion for the kids. She was a shining light for all of who spent time with her when she and Dick ministered in Bowie. Love, Becky Winn
