Pauline Virginia (Klein) Caswell, “Nanny” 88 of Sunset, TX, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 25th, 2023 in her home in Sunset, TX.
Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29th, at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Bowie, TX, with Father Albert Officiating.
Burial will follow at the Sunset Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 28th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Pauline was born February 21, 1935 in Henrietta, TX to Carl and Clyde Marie (Perkins) Klein. Pauline was a very strong and smart woman. That would never shy away from work and was never scared to say what needed to be said.
Pauline was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and graduated from Henrietta High-School. She later on began working for Bellmire Nursing Home and Bowie Memorial Hospital as a dietitian for many years before retiring in 2005. She married her husband Billy Wayne Caswell on October 13,1957. Together they raised 3 children: James and Jean (Twins) and her youngest Billy Don. She had many talents including Quilting, Sewing, Cooking, and tending to her Flower garden. She loved her family and provided for them even going on to help raise 3 of her grandchildren Cassie, Lacey, and Quentin.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Wayne on January 19,1999
Pauline is survived by her brother, Clarence Klein; sisters; Carla Whitaker and Frances Essler; sons, James and Billy Don Caswell and wife Lorie; daughter, Jean Mayoral; granddaughters, Engelica Caswell, Tabatha Mayoral, Cassie Gray and Lacey Caswell; grandsons, Kyle Caswell, Zach Mayoral, Trent Gray and Quentin Caswell; great-granddaughters, Isabella Caswell, Madison McIntire, Madalynn McIntire, Alayah Washington, and Aria Stoops; and great-grandsons, Aaron Gray and Jesse Gray.
