Peggy Ann Moorehead
April 20, 1934 - July 7, 2026
BOWIE - Peggy “Ann” Moorehead 92, died July 7, 2026 in Bowie.
Ann was born April 20, 1934 to Robert Lewis Orr and Annie McKinzie in Electra, Texas.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, brother Howard Orr, daughter Sherry Wheeler, and son Joe Wheeler.
Ann will have a grave side service at a later date.
She is survived by sons Mark Wheeler and wife Cindy; Mike Wheeler and wife Kerry; 5 grandchildren; one great grandchild and two nephews.
Ann graduated Bowie High School in 1952 as Valedictorian of her class.
She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church. Ann had a kind heart and will be missed.

I will always remember our first meeting. Me as a temp to work in sales dept and you as my HR contact but it wasn't called HR back then. I grew very close to you for you being so discreet and caring to others. My fondness just grew stronger through the years. I will always remember and miss you.
