In loving memory, we celebrate the remarkable life of RaeAnn Warren, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. RaeAnn passed away peacefully at her home on June 23, 2026, surrounded by her devoted family after enduring a long illness with grace and courage. She was 85 years old.

A celebration of RaeAnn’s life will be held on June 30, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Montague County Cowboy Church, located at 1600 FM 455, Montague, TX 76251.

RaeAnn was born on September 15, 1940, in the small town of Goldthwaite, Texas, to her proud parents, Guy and Freda Calder. From an early age, she exhibited a gentle spirit, kind heart, qualities that she carried with her throughout her life. As a young woman, she graduated from Greenville High School and continued her education at East Texas State Teachers College, Commerce, Texas where she cultivated a lifelong love for learning and exploration.

On September 11, 1959, RaeAnn married the love of her life, David Warren, Sr., at the First Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter and shared adventures. Their marriage of 66 years was a testament to their unwavering commitment and deep affection for one another.

RaeAnn was a devoted mother to her three children, Lisa and Roland Medina, David, Jr. and Michelle Warren and Wesley and Page Warren, who each carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. Her family was her greatest joy, and she relished every moment spent with her eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter and the aroma of her favorite family recipes.

An active and dedicated member of the Montague Cowboy Church, RaeAnn found joy and fellowship within her church community. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she treasured the many precious friendships she cultivated over the years.

RaeAnn had an avid interest in travel, a passion she shared with her family and friends. Whether it was cruising the open seas, embarking on road trips with her mother, or exploring new destinations with her husband, RaeAnn embraced every journey with enthusiasm and a sense of wonder. Her love for travel was matched only by her love for her family, with whom she delighted in creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Known for her kind smile and gentle ways, RaeAnn had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to call her a friend.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the church community for their outpouring of love and support during RaeAnn’s illness, as well as to the compassionate caregivers from Solaris who provided comfort and assistance in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to carry forward RaeAnn’s legacy of kindness and generosity by performing an act of kindness in her memory. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
