Ramona Lynn Hopson, 61 of Bowie, TX passed away Thursday, May 28th, 2026 in Nocona, TX.

Ramona was born August 14, 1964, in Dallas, TX to Elizabeth Eldred. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and found happiness wherever they could be together with their camper and animals.

Ramona loved music, good BBQ, and watching her favorite television shows, especially Yellowstone and Survivor. She was a proud lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary and was always willing to help others whenever she could.

Nothing brought Ramona more joy than being surrounded by her family. Whether attending her grandchildren's sporting events, sharing a meal, or making memories on a camping trip, family was always at the center of her life.

Ramona will be remembered for her kind heart, her willingness to help others, and the deep love she had for her family. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

She preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Eldred, grandmother, Suzie Stovall, mother-in-law, Mary Posey, and daughter, Samantha Holt.

Ramona is survived by her husband, James Hopson; daughter, Amber Bingham and husband Kevin, and their 5 kids; daughter Jamie Pauli and husband James, and their 3 kids; son, Stewart Fain and wife Crystal, their 3 kids; daughter, Christina Fain and her 4 kids; and son, Jackie Hopson; the newest member of her family, her great-granddaughter; sister, Melba Beam and husband Sherman; and several other family members along with friends.

Family has chosen arrangements with cremation. Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
