Obituary For Richard Allen Hudson
Richard Allen “Rick” Hudson, 71, passed away peacefully in his home on November 11, 2025, in Nocona, Texas.
A Memorial Service will take place to honor Rick’s life and the memories he created with those who knew him on Friday, November 21st, at 11:00 a.m. at the White Family Funeral Home, 1418 HWY 59 N. in Bowie.
Rick was born on September 2, 1954, in Bowie, TX. Rick lived a life marked by quiet joys and simple pleasures. He graduated from Bell Gardens High School and was a journey man Iron worker for the California Iron Workers Local 433. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father Sid Hudson and mom Jeanette Hudson; mother, Melba Rose Sandel Lowe; stepfather Sonny Lowe; brothers Kenneth Hudson and Ron Hudson; and sister Kathy Gaston.
Rick is survived by his daughter Polly Jones and her husband Brad Jones; grandchildren Hope and Brazos Jones; sister Debbie Hudson; sister-in-law Dolly Hudson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind special friends Valerie and Joe Tom Hancock and Sam Howard—companions who shared in his laughter and stories over the years.
