Obituary For Ricky Gene Bumgardner

Ricky Gene Bumgardner of Ringgold, TX departed this life in God’s faith and fear in sure and certain hope of the resurrection at 63 years of age on February 23, 2024.

A service of remembrance will be held at the Bible Baptist Church of Bowie at 1 PM on Saturday, March 2. A service of interment and committal will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery of Stoneburg, TX. Gifts to the family may kindly be arranged through the White Family Funeral Home.

Ricky was born December 20, 1960 to Bennie Ruth Bumgardner and David Bryan Bumgardner in Dallas, TX. He was converted and subsequently baptized at 14 years of age.

He was a deeply beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle.

In addition to spending time with friends, family, and loved ones, he enjoyed Dallas Cowboys football, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, watching Westerns, and spending time with his dog.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved nephew Cody, and his brother Tony.

Ricky is survived by the following individuals: his wife Tracy; his daughters Misty and Megan; his sons Ricky, Wade, Nate, and Zane; his grandchildren Barrett and Bristol; his brother Allen; his sister-in-law Shelly; and his nephew David.

Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home.
