Rose Jean Nations, age 92 of Bowie, TX, passed away Monday, April 8th, 2024 in Bowie, TX.
Celebration of Life (Meet, Mingle, Remember, and Celebrate) will be April 27, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church, 204 Decatur St, Bowie, TX, Fellowship Hall between 1 pm and 4 pm.
Rose was born on March 24, 1932 in White Plains, South Carolina. Daughter of the late Eugene and Corrie Morgan of Belton, South Carolina. Wife of Ralph Nations, Bowie, Texas for 72 years. They met and married in South Carolina, where he was stationed at Donaldson Air Force Base, Greenville, South Carolina.
She worked at Hancock Fabrics many, many years ago. This was the beginning of her love of sewing and doing all kinds of crafts. If she could think of it or see it, she would make it. She loved birdwatching, antiquing, traveling and reading. She was a Christian and loved her Bible and memorizing Bible verses.
She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Nations; parents, Eugene and Corrie Morgan; sisters, Ellena Williams, Virginia Smith, Leoma Jordan; brother, JP Morgan; grandson, AJ Bolt.
Rose is survived by her husband, Ralph Nations; daughters, Patricia Reeves (Keith) and Annette Freise; daughter-in-law, Janice Nations; grandsons, Ben (Abby) Reeves, Nathan (Brionne) Reeves, Raymond Freise and Michael (Abigail) Nations; granddaughters, Kari Bolt and Ashley Lintner (Scott); great-grandchildren, London, Logan, Mikayla, and Bryce; great-grandchildren, Aryn Leighton, Michael Leighton, Isabella, Natalie, Sophia and future baby boy; great-great-grandchild, Maxton; sister, Gloria Thomspon and family of South Carolina; and many more cousins, nieces and nephews.
