Obituary For Sharon Gail Barnett

Sharon Gail Barnett, 80 of Bellevue, TX passed away Friday, March 29th, 2024.

A memorial visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 5th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX.

Sharon was born September 10, 1943 in Bowie, TX to Sam and Quincy Eloise (Durham) Hendrix. On December 25, 1990 Sharon married John Barnett in Bellevue, TX. She had a lifelong career as a dietician, doing what she loved and caring for patients. She worked at the Bowie Memorial Hospital for 11 years, the Bellmire Nursing Home for 12 years and Independence Hall for 4 years, until her retirement. Sharon will always be remembered with love and appreciation for being a devoted wife and mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Terry Brown, and brother, Benton Hendrix.

Sharon is survived by her husband, John Barnett of Bellevue, TX; children, Sherry Schroeder and husband Steven of Windthorst, TX, Teresa Lovitt of Breckenridge, TX, Brandie Hood of Springtown, TX, and Joe Gilmore of Bellevue, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Schroeder and Andrew Schroeder, and 9 other grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
