Tina Gay Trawick, 58 of Bowie, TX, passed away on February 24, 2022, in Decatur, TX.
A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on March 7th, at Carter Lake Road Church of Christ in Bowie, TX.
Tina was born in Bowie, Texas on April 26, 1963 to Bobbie Tomlin and Mary Sue Tomlin. Growing up Tina loved horses and playing softball. She was always attending playdays, softball games, and loved having the softball girls over. Her love for horses continued and she attended Colorado State. She came back to work for Snippy Farms as an Artificial Breeding Technician. She went on to have three girls and later attended TCC for Child nutrition. Her greatest passion was cooking and kids. She worked many years in the school cafeteria as “Lunch Lady Mom.”
Having her as a mother was more than anyone could ask for. In life she always put everyone and us kids first. Growing up our house was always open for anyone who needed a place to stay, a warm meal, a friend, someone to talk to or just to hang out. She would go to bed and wake up with kids everywhere, they would just show up in the night and sleep on the couch, floor, rooms, just anywhere they could find. All our friends knew chocolate chip cookies were always on the counter or she would make you some.
Once the kids were out of the house she enjoyed spending time with the love of her life Kenny, fishing, glamping, Texas Ranger games, baseball, sleepovers with grandkids, inviting everyone over for Holidays. She always loved people around so she could visit and cook for them. Tina was a wonderful cook and was always known as the “Food Pusher” by her SIL Jay.
She is preceded in death by daughter Valori Paige Ross.
Tina is survived by her husband, Kenneth Trawick; parents, Bobbie Tomlin and Mary Sue Tomlin; children, Victoria Carter and husband Jay, Kassidy Gaston, Tyler Trawick and Bryan Trawick; sisters, Sara Rivera and husband Alan and daughter Aurora, Bobbie Sue Shore and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Olivia, Payton, Mark, Ollie, Bella, Riggin, Mary Sue, Albert, and baby Ryan; niece Chelsey and husband Jeff and kids Pacus, Padun, and Piper; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Family and Friends.
