Bill was born September 26, 1946, in Bowie, Texas, to the late Eska (Loyd) and Mary Emma (Heugatter) Hollowell. Bill grew up outside of Bowie in Sunset Texas on the family farm. He graduated from High School in 1965 from Bowie High School. After graduating he enjoyed chasing the rodeo circuit, steer roping and bulldogging. In 2012, he married the late Connie (Lee-Stevens) Hollowell, adding two daughters to the family, Michell Cassetty and Jodi Carter. He and Connie recently made a trip to Estes Park, Colorado and he loved telling the stories of their trip.

I never met Bill, but I talked with him several times on the phone. I gave him some pointers on planning the 1965 Bowie Class Reunion. He always took the time to talk with me to see if there was anything I could help him with in finding classmates that he had been unable to find.. He was going to give me a list to see if I could find any of them. I will miss his visiting with me.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family! He was such a good man. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Without a doubt, Heaven gained another Angel.
Bill was my next door neighbor and we would stand out back and have some great times visiting with each other. Friday we talk a good 30 minutes and he was talking about how excited he was going back to school and starting his new route. I have much respect for Bill, and my thought's and prayers are with him,and his family, friends and co- worker's.🙏🙏🙏
