Dee and I worked together in the Contract Services Unit back in the 70's and remained friends ever since. Dee was there for me when I was in need of comfort. Dee understood about heartbreak and offered me the most wonderful advice in the form of beautiful piece of cross stich which I cherish. It said "If you love something let it go, if it returns it is yours, if not it never was." Thank you dear Dee for your frienship, compassion and love. You will be live on in the hearts of those who love you. Penny Blackford Contract Services Unit.
In memory of my long-time friend, Delores: She was the first friend I made when Tony and I married and moved to Atlanta more than 49 years ago. Not only was she my friend, but she was also my mentor and supervisor at DHR for about 15 years. I felt like she was my "big sister," and I thought she knew almost everything. She was generous and kind to my family. She gave me a baby shower, and she threw a wedding shower for one of my daughters. I will always remember and cherish my wonderful memories of Delores as I hold a special place in my heart for my friend (Dee). Rest in Peace, Gerri Heard (and Tony Heard)
My prayers and condolences are with the family at this time of sorrow. Edith Hall
