As the one yr anniversary of getting your wings I'm sitting here trying to not be sad but I'm really miss you our talks, outings, advice etc etc. My heart is broken, my smile is somewhat gone. If only you could've stayed a little while longer I know you were tired and God said it's time for you to take your rest and I know you're looking down smiling. I'll try and be continuously strong and carry our precious memories with me always. I love and miss you forever my sister my friend your lil sis Chris💔💔💔

Our deepest and sincere sympathy to the family. Over the years, we have shared many fun family visits, Metro social and Savings Club meetings, and Askew Family Reunions. BC's calm sweet spirit and her love for family as she referred to cousins as CUZ, will truly be missed. My Dearest Dorothy,

I will miss our phone calls. We talked nearly everyday. We affectionately and jokingly had many nicknames for one another. I called you Dee Dee Bird, Old lady, and Big Head and you called me Big Head, Old Lady, and Girlie! In the last few months though, you began calling me "sis"; I was honored to be your friend and finally your sis. My life will not be the same without my sis. Thank you for sharing your mom, son, grandchildren, and family. You always included us (daughter & grandchild) in your family events. There will never be another friend like you--more than 40 years of friendship that began at Blue Cross Blue Shield. You taught me so much about how to be a good friend! Thank you for being my friend! Condolences and prayers to Dorothy's family; she was so proud of all of you and she loved you dearly! She never failed to update me about the positive things each of you were doing, and she talked often about how proud you made her.

This is truly so unreal one minute you're uplifting me to keep moving on now I'm back where I started heart and soul in the drenches cause now you're gone. I can't help but ask why you and my mom, my heart will forever hurt 💔 and the rhythm will never be the same. You took a flight to Heaven 9mths after your Auntie now what is a girl to do😭😭😭 you were my voice of reason and spiritual teacher.😭💔 hard as this is, I know God makes no mistakes.
