Like for many, working with Eric led to a great friendship. Eric loved his family deeply, and everyone who knew him understood so. It was a pleasure being Eric's friend and colleague - he was taken too soon.

Rhonda, Raven, & EJ, you don't know me but I was a coworker of Eric's at MTDB. I relocated out of state and we lost touch. His loss is devastating! He was a good friend, always gave me a different perspective with his wise counsel, and his sense of humor got me through some challenging days. He always talked about his family--he loved you all so much! He leaves a legacy of excellence that will never be forgotten. I will miss my friend, dearly. God bless all of you and please accept my humble condolences for his loss.

Eric will always be there for you and all of us with his wonderful smile and laughter. Eric was not only cherished by your family, but by the MTDB and SANDAG family as well. We have already been missing him for sometime. I never thought that his going away party at Basic pizza would be the last time I ever saw him.

Eric was a great friend and coworker. He could always be counted on to play hoops during lunch or crack a joke.

Eric's integrity and character was respected and appreciated. Eric as a good, fun loving, friendly role model for everyone.

Thanks for providing us with the opportunity to share so much of our lives with him. We were great friends.

To Rhonda and Family, I am so sorry to hear the loss of your husband and father. I worked with Eric for many years at SANDAG and he was a remarkable man and dear friend.
