Obituary For Havonia Denise Holley

Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Holley will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00AM; Willie A. Watkins Lithonia Chapel, 5843 Redan Road Lithonia, GA 30058.

Viewing will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 from 2PM-6PM at Willie A. Watkins Lithonia Chapel.

This service will be live streamed, link forthcoming.

Today i received the message that my friend was gone. So hard to say so long my friend. Havonia was a joy to have around. I was her Orthopedic nurse. She would always say "you my girl Rita", and I will truly miss her. To her family and Bernard, hang in there. We will meet her again. Rest well my sister.

I extend my deepest sympathies to LaToya and family. May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Wishing you peace, comfort and hope in the midst of your sorrow. Our deepest sympathy. Sandra & Tony Martin

Sending our prayers and deepest condolences to the family, I had the pleasure of going though the NYC Police department process with Holley, "that's what I called her" we laughed and waited Anxiously for our names to be called with much anticipation and due to that process we developed a friendship, the last time I spoke to Holley was November 16th, She will be truly missed, I want to remember Holley full of laughter from our many conversations throughout the years!!!!! REST IN PEACE MY SISTER IN BLUE💙💙

No words can express the pain that you are going through, for I am too. You raised a beautiful child with great morals and respect. The gift of having Havonia as my friend may be taken away, but not that of having one. She will always be a memory in my mine and my heart. She will be missed. I love you. She seemed to have a life filled with purpose and joy. She always had a smile to light up the room which I remembered since she was young. when I viisted the family in Hempstead, New York. Many years ago. Please know . I'm constantly praying that our creator Jehovah God will strengthen you all and comfort with beautiful memories of Havonia. and may you be encouraged by Jesus words at John 11:25 which says in part... "I am the resurrection and the life" showing he gave us hope that we can see our dear love ones again based on this resurrection hope that Jesus promised.

My Condolences to the family and close friends of Havonia. Prayers are going up for strength in her passing. I known Denise and family since I was about 14 15 years old they treated me as family, that is something I will never forget. We all had wonderful times at the Lakeview Pool, the movies, the parks, the rides to Newark N.J. the fishing trips, they took me in as family.
