To the Moore Family: We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Johnny S Moore. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family during these very stressful times. Indeed, this is a time period when strong words of love and support will be needed by all. I know that the many family members and friends will be there for you. But I also like to take this time to remind all that God Himself will be there for. The scriptures clearly reminds us that God is a God of tender mercy and comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) He knows what all family have been dealing with, and has given us His personal promise that He would soon take corrective action regarding these painful trials that we are dealing with. Yes, He would soon rid the earth of things such as sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3-4) However there is yet another promise that God wants all grieving hearts to be made aware of. That promise deals with the restoring of l I've back to those who fallen asleep in death. Persons like Johnny, and a great host of people from all around the world. This promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. The promise from God tells us that He would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Oh what a loving and comforting promise that truly is. God is giving us His personal guarantee that the restoring of life would certainly take place. This arrangement of the restoring of life will take place because God is the source of life for all living things. (Psalm 36:9) From this verse, we come to understand that even if a person dies, God has the power and the desire to make a person whole again. However God goes on even further when He takes the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this resurrection blessing from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these wonderful verses apply to Johnny, and a great host of others who await their promised awakening from the deep sleep of death. Just imagine the sound of joy and laughter filling the earth at this time. Just imagine how you will respond in a personal way, as you witness with your very eyes the dead standing up in life again. So, in closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
