To the Collins Family We are sorry to hear about the passing of Malachi Collins. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this hour of great sadness. May all grieving hearts please draw tender mercy and comfort from this promise from God where He tells us about the resurrection blessing that is near at hand. This comforting promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. In the verses, God tells us that we are very near the time period when He would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. In fact, from the above text, God is giving us His personal guarantee that the resurrection of life would take place. Since God is the source for every living thing, the restoring of life back to a person is surely something that He can do. (Psalm 36:9) Until this arrangement takes place, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the grand resurrection blessing that is near at hand. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I truly hope that the family members and friends will get a chance to see how they verses apply to Malachi, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. So please keep this promise from God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. ( Titus 1:2)
