My heart breaks to hear of Shawn´s passing. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Shawn and I became friends 5 years ago when I was on maternity leave my youngest, played online games, talked and shared a lot of laughs. His love for his children, mom and granny were always so evident when we talked.

Fly free my friend. May we cross paths in the next life.

I worked with Shawn for years at Chapel Hills- he was a kind, thoughtful, good man. One year my daughter had to come to work with me on Christmas Eve. Shawn made her pancakes with a face for breakfast - she was about 3. She's 11 now and she still talks about Shawn. He's definitely remembered by many.

Unc, I still can't wrap my head around this one.. Growing up you were always Uncle Shun even though you're my cousin. I always looked at you as my uncle. It was always a fun time Going to grandmas especially when u were there. We already knew it was time to laugh.. One of my best memories I will never forget, is when you would put your belly on our shoulders n bust out laughing every time.. we would scream n run. Even in high school n being grown. And even doing it to my daughter lol.. I got to spend more and more time with you During football season. Talking trash and cheering our boys on.. It won't be the same without you.. I will miss you yelling Kimbaleeeyyy and you telling Lisa that i have something in my trunk for y'all. Well UNC i still have some in my trunk.. U will truly be missed and I have Lisa and Kayden on and off the field! I miss you and love you! May you rest in peace and I will see you again one day! I know your up there cooking Too! Big daddy Stephens one of my oldest and best friends. I have and always will love him with all my heart. We grew up together. The trouble that he has kept me out of or maybe kept me in lol Will be something I always remember. I love the fact that he was such an amazing father and loved with all of his heart.
