I had known Sidney since Kindergaden and all through high school, and college. As we grew up together, we engaged in many endeavors and never lost contact checking in and meeting with each other now and then. He and I had an unspoken and unbreakable frienship bond. So, he was sincerely a brother to me. I will always remember him as a loyal, decent and good man to his family, friends, schoolmates and anyone who knew him. I miss him and always will. John Hollis.

Sidney was a kind and generous man. We grew up together in Columbus GA and graduated in 1971 from Carver High School. He will be missed. My condolences to the entire Pitts Family.
