Reverend Billy R. Brown, Sr., passed December 30, 2019.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 11 AM, at the Saint Smyrna Baptist Church, Reverend Tamarkus T. Cook, Senior Pastor and Eulogist. Inhumation will immediately follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 3, from 3 PM - 5 PM with a visitation following from 5 PM - 7 PM at the church.

So sorry yo hear of Minister Billy Browns's passing! I will keep Mary and Billy Ray lifted up in prayer! It was a privilege to have known and worshipped with the family at saint syrmna! Minister Billy Brown was a true inspiration and a Man of God! He will certainly be missed! Linda Ragland and Family!

Billy was a school mate at Randolph High School in LaGrange,Texas, . He was in the graduating class of 1957. He did attend the school reunion a few years back, and was the speaker of our Sunday service. We will miss Billy. Randolph’s condolences to Mary and Billy. I love you Uncle Billy forevermore. I send my condolences to Aunt Mary and Billy Ray. I remember as a kid when Uncle Billy was one of thr assistance coaches for McNeese St I would be their water and towel boy when the team came to Dallas to play SMU. I had a blast!
To the family of Coach Billy Brown. My prayers is with the Wife and son of Coach Billy Brown. Coach Billy Brown was on highly respected Educator, we love Coach Billy Brown. He was part of my High School years, Lutcher Stark Class of 1977. I remember when he came for one of our class reunion. He had the opportunity to deliver God words to his students. I will never forget that class reunion. Rest in peace Coach Billy Brown.
