I still think about you Rhonda, and know that you impacted my life and so many others! Rhonda chose to believe in my years ago when I almost lost my flight attendant position at Airtran and saved my job. I will never forget her kindness and her ability to see truth. Thank you for heart, your smiles and warmth while you were here because it stays with me all these years. Much love and continue to rest at peace—Brittany Wilson (Bam)
I never had the pleasure of meeting your loved one.
Even still, today I am sharing in your sorrow and wishing you peace.
Please feel and be assured of God's loving arms around you as He promises to carry you through every heartache. Isaiah 46:4
Furthermore, the promise that God has made is soon to be a reality. John 3:16; 5:28, 29 & Revelation 21:3-5

All the best to you and yours.
My condolences to her family. We grew up in south Minneapolis blocks apart. I'm sure she knew me before I knew her because she was a little older. She was always kind to me. I know she will be missed dearly. My she rest peacefully. Monique (Nickie) Riley
I met Rhonda the first day of AirTran Airways Flight Attendant training. When she heard I'd taken MARTA to training, she offered to give me a ride home that day and to and from training each day. She had such a kind heart and beautiful smile. I loved her Minnesota accent. She always shared loving stories about Donte, Meechy, NaeNae and Tyler. We graduated from Inflight training together 17 years ago on 11/14/03. We were friends at work and outside of work. When I bought my house, she came over and helped me paint the rooms. I loved hearing her talk about her kids and grandkids. One of my favorite memories is taking Naenae camping and white water rafting with me. After I had my son, I enjoyed sharing stories about him with her. I already miss texting her funny stories about my son and getting her "too funny" or "too cute" responses in return. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and become friends with Rhonda. My prayers continue for her mom, kids and grandkids. Erika
My deepest condolences to the family of Rhonda. We met years ago in Mpls when I would get my hair done. Eventually I moved to Atlanta and was pleasantly surprised when I heard she moved as well. Rhonda had an absolutely beautiful smile and her laughter was infectious. Her love for her children is second to NONE and she did everything to ensure her children had the best life she could provide. To her children may you be surrounded in love by everyone who loved her. Always know so many of us embrace you into our hearts and our families. We will always be here for you, Joslyn.
Rhonda and I were Co Managers with AirTran Airways. We quickly became true friends. We enjoyed many laughs and good times together at work on outside of work. Rhonda and I supported each other during 5he times that we raised our children and at work. I loved her spirit, her driven personality, her commitment to doing the right thing and her ability to be passionate about life regardless of the circumstance. Rhonda was a real winner in my eyes. I love her dearly. I send my thoughts and prayers to her family and just hope you always feel the love that she had for you...because she loved you so much.
Dear Buford family, Rhonda was my hair stylist in Minneapolis and I was her childcare provider. Rhonda's smile & laugh would light up a room. Her stories and wisdom will remain forever. If Rhonda said she was going to do something it happened! She cherished her children and family. May God comfort your hearts during this journey. Praying for you all! Ms. Fay
I love you Sis. I miss you. So strong...but frail. You were there to help Dad transition. I wanted to be there for yours. You're in good hands. No more pain. I pray for Naenae, Meechie, and Dontae and your grands as they will miss you forever. So will I. Love you, Dani
It was always a pleasure being in Rhonda's company, a good conversation, genuine advise, a warm and friendly smile. Sleep well my dear. To her family and loved ones praying for comfort through this difficult time.
To the children of Rhonda Buford your mother has a beautiful spirit and a bright smile. She was in charge of her own destiny. When she made a decision to do something she did it. A successful hair stylist, success salon owner and mentor to many who came behind her...working full time and pursuing her higher education. In all the achievements she made in life the one she cherished the most was being a mother. You all meant the world to her. She praised your successes and encouraged your failures. She is the back bone of the family. Remember all the lessons and love that she shared with you. Of course she will be missed beyond what words can describe, but the blessing is you have an angel watching over you the rest of your lives. You're all in my prayers, Ramona Johnson Battle
Rhonda was such a beautiful person inside and out. She was always a joy to fly with. She will be greatly missed. My condolences and prayers for the family.
I remember when Rhonda first told me about her diagnosis. We were preparing to go to Dallas as we were transitioning over to Southwest. I nearly crumbled inside when I heard but was stricken by her grace, strength and poised. She remained that way throughout always smiling and with a positive attitude. It was always a pleasure and inspiration to be around her. Her presence will be missed dearly.

To the Buford Family: In this difficult time in your life, may you find comfort in God's Word, the Bible. Psalm 55:22 encourages us to "Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you." My condolences, S. Acker.
I met Rhonda in Minneapolis MN when she was in her twenties. She was my beautician for over 30 years, I moved to Atlanta and she moved right behind me a year later. She was my strength so many times, her love for her children brought a smile to her face every time we talk about them. Her humor kept us laughing, words cannot describe how much I miss her. We last talk on Oct 8th, I will cherish that moment and the text she sent to me. Rest In Peace, lifting her entire family in prayer.
To the Buford family. You have my deepest condolences and sympathy during this very difficult time. I'm truly sorry for your loss. My hope you will find Gods words as a source of comfort to you'll at this time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,4who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.
I met Ms. Buford or Buford as I loved to call her at Dr. Zelnak's office. Ms. Buford was funny but serious when the time called for it. I always fussed at her for being late, but I loved seeing her smiling face, when we could show it. I will miss her dearly, but I am happy she is no longer in pain. Praying for her whole family, Alaina.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
