Dearest Sister Yahnyce, As I Honor your life today, I will truly miss you. Over the past week, I have been reflecting on our time together. We have so many ways alike, that we often can finish each other's thoughts. We have had similar experiences; therefore, I looked to you for advise ahead of time on things I needed to be aware of or take heed to in my life. You would always say, "Sere, you need to get some rest, you're doing too much". Then I would say, "ok you're right", yet find myself continuing to go. We both agreed our mother molded us this way. Now would also be the time we would be reminding each other of things to remove in preparation for The Memorial of Feast of Unleavened Bread and sharing recipes. Now I say, take your rest, and be caressed in the bosom of The Almighty. I thank The Creator that there is no more pain, suffering, medicines, herbs or concoctions for you to have to endure. I thank The Almighty for allowing you to always be that creative one and granting you wisdom to provide loving care and motherly affection to me and so many more. Gone too soon my sister; however we know that YAH gives life and He takes life away. We pray that He allows your lovely spirit to resonate in the earth and allows us to see each other in Zion one day my beloved sister!!

Being a viewing member of the congregation of House Of YisraEL Atlanta, we came to admire and love Sista Queen 👑 Yahyce. Her beautiful voice, singing praises to Yahweh will truly be missed. I did not know Ms. Yahnyce very long. I met her through my mother Mrs. Mitchell (known to the congregation as Sister Ashirah). It is so shocking to hear of Ms. Yahnyce's passing, as it occured on the exact same day I lost my mom. I give my sincerest condolences and prayers to the family during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.

Words cannot express the sympathy I have for the family during their loss. Yahnyce and her family were there for me when my husband died and help me during my sorrow. I pray Yah gives you the strength at this time. She will be miss tremendously.

Lost for words... still, indefinitely. I've known you for so long, over 15 years... wow, since I was about 3 or 4 🥺.. from choir rehearsals, to conferences, to coming over and being crafty.. the list goes so far. ELqanah, Serefina and family. Oh my beloved family. What can one say when one has lost someone so precious and dear to them? I'll never forget the time you, Yahnyce and Serefina came to Chicago to do the,"One Savior" CD for me. We got to spend a lot of time togethe, at SarahYah's house and in the studio. Also riding the train to the studio and back, and though my heart bleeds I will cherish those and other precious memories of being with the 3 of you. Greg, (the producer) loved it too and talked about it until his death. I can't find the word's to convey what's going on in my heart so I'll say it in a poem YAH allowed me to write. No More Pain For Yahnyce She's resting in a place that's meant for her alone. YAH pulled down the cover's fir her to sleep on. He called another love one to rest in peace. He's ended Yahnyces pain and now she's fast asleep YAH has a Master plan that will come to life. He's going to wake the dead and give us one last chance to do right Then we'll see Yahnyce again and you know she's in good hands Let's pray we'll all make it to the Promise Land. I remember one Sabbath day I was helping prepare the food for class. I was probably 9 or 10 at the time and wanted to help so bad but I didn't know what to do. Sister Yahnyce came over, patiently explained what to do, and gave me a talk of being confident and willing to ask for help. Afterwards she told me of how proud she was of me. I remember being so happy and excited that the next thing I remember is her singing in front of class, me getting up out of my seat, (dodging my Ima's hands) and dancing up the middle aisle towards her to stand at her side. (That was probably one of the few times I voluntarily got up to dance in front of so many people) Suffice it to say she always had a kind word or thought about someone and she had a hand in shaping who I am today. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
