MS. ANNIE FLORENCE WILLIAMS - Age 61, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020. She is preceded by her mother, Almetta Finnell, father, George Newson, II, siblings, Frances Earls, Thomas Newson, Patricia Newson Barrow, Jerry Newson, Ronnie Newson Hendley, Sr., and George Newson, III.

She is survived by her sisters, Annette “Darlene” Carter, Edna Newson, Deborah Burney Thurman, Annette Jenkins, Linda Newson, and Denise Mungro; brothers, Christopher O’Hara, Earl (Andi) Finnell, Tyrone (Katherine) Newson, David Newson, Mark Newson, LeBron Newson, Ricky Newson Hendley, and Nathaniel “Jimmy” (Zettie) Thurman; aunts, Mary Jane Fuqua, Lorene Smith, and Dorothy Lockett; uncle, Willie Boyd Fuqua; dedicated cousins, Sandra Fuqua Elliot and Linda Fuqua; dedicated nieces, Sharon Wright, Frances Wright, and Sunshine Finnell; dedicated nephews, DeMarcus Finnell and Michael Wright, Jr., dedicated goddaughter, Denise Dave; best friend, Barbara Dave; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Due to COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 2:30 P. M. at Hardwick & Sons Funeral Home, 2521 Duncan Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404 with Elder Wilbert McClure, Eulogist. Interment Highland Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Hardwick & Sons Funeral Home. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
