Obituary For Ardella M. Perry Shropshire

MRS. ARDELLA MAURICE PERRY “SUSIE” SHROPSHIRE – Age 89, of Summerville, GA passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 with her loving family at her bedside. She was born December 3, 1933 to her late parents, William Ligon and Allie Knowles Perry. She was the widow of the late Ralph W. Shropshire, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ralph W. Shropshire, III, daughter, Brenda R. Rounsaville, and 6 siblings. She was a graduate of the Chattooga School System, she was employed at Georgia Gloves for many years in Lyerly, Georgia and was a member of New Spirit and Truth Assembly of Jesus.

Survivors are her sons, Spencer (Dora) Shropshire, Carl Shropshire, Sr.; daughter, Rosemary Shropshire; five grandchildren, Carl, Mina, Ralph (Tracy), Tiffany, and Keisa; great grandchildren; Kasmine (Jordan) , Tevin, Donald, Ayanna, Jayla, Kingston,Chase, and Tia; sister, Dorothy Perry; brother, Eugene Hudgins; special friends, Sarah Mosley, Fran Bagley, Rosa Evans, Gordon Height, Minister Melvin and Betty Mosley, Paulette Perry, Godfrey Spence, Nickie Watkins, and Stephanie Riley, Robin Williams; other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at New Spirit and Truth Assembly of Jesus, 487 Scoggins St, Summerville, GA 30747, with Bishop V. T. Harden, Eulogist. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour at the church. Interment, 2:00 P. M. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
