MOTHER ARDELLA ROBERTS WEAVER - Age 90, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 AT Wood Dale Health and Rehab. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dea. James Richard Weaver, daughter, Lenora Weaver Mitchell, parents, Henry William Roberts, Elnora Harshaw Roberts, and stepfather, Floyd Roberts; sisters, Frances Gordon, Frankie Roberts Groomes, and Florence Roberts; brothers, Luke Roberts, Horace Roberts, Vernon Harshaw, William Henry Roberts, Jr., and Craig Roberts. She is survived by her two sons, Ahmad H. Al-Ameen, wife, Habeebah Al-Ameen of Decatur, Georgia, and Hammad S. El-Ameen, wife, Rajaa Ali of Chattanooga, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, Lateefah Al-Ameen, Bilal Al-Ameen, Nailah Al-Ameen, Shareef Al-Ameen of Atlanta, Shaheed Al-Ameen of Boston, Massachusetts, Aneesah El-Ameen, Hana El-Ameen Aguiler, Jameela El-Ameen, and Zakeya El-Ameen, Derrick Mitchell, and Brandon Mitchell of Dalton, Georgia; sixteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Roberts Berrien, Gwen Roberts Porter, of Springfield, Ohio; brothers, David Roberts, Mark Roberts, Joe Charles Roberts of Atlanta, Georgia, William Roberts of Dennison, Ohio, Eugene Roberts, Frank Roberts, Harry Roberts, David Roberts, and Anthony Roberts, all of Springfield, Ohio; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; one aunt, Alice Harshaw Clark of Atlanta; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; special friends, Jennie Mitchell, Linda McDade, Mary Suttles, and other friends. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Bishop Claud Jones as Eulogist, and Pastor Charles Catchings, presiding. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 12:00 noon. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
